In one of the most entertaining games all season, the Eagles survived several comeback attempts by the Giants to win a wild one on Sunday night 45-38.
The win moved their record to 9-4 on the year and combined with the Cowboy's loss earlier in the day to San Diego, Philadelphia is now in sole possession of 1st place in the NFC East. More importantly, this win gives the Eagles control of their own destiny in regards to winning the division. With three games to play including a season finale in Dallas, if they can win out or at the very least beat the Cowboys in week 17, they will be the 2009 NFC East division champions and host at least one playoff game at the Linc.
