Washington Redskins vs. New York Giants Free Pick

It is a well-deserved week off for us tortured Eagles' fans as Andy Reid and Co. take some time during their bye to try and regroup for a presumably better performance over the next 10 games of the regular season.

It is far too early to give up on the Birds' chances to make a deep run into the playoffs that could end-up with a trip to New Orleans for Super Bowl XLVII, but there a number of issues that need to be corrected on both sides of the ball. In the meantime, we can turn our attention to a huge NFC East matchup on Sunday's slate between the Washington Redskins and the New York. It is hard to know which team to root for in this matchup considering that the Redskins are currently tied with the Eagles at 3-3 while the Giants are 4-2 but already have two losses in the division.

My gut tells me that New York comes-out on top in this one, but my heart is with Washington to pull out the win. This is the best scenario to keep the division a jumbled-up mess. The following is a link to my preview and prediction for Sunday's game in an article that was previously posted on Bang the Book.
