One of the biggest stories this offseason has been what the Eagles will do with backup quarterback Kevin Kolb. He is entering the final year of his current contract and has already expressed an interest in being traded in an effort to be a starter in the NFL.
Kolb had the starting role with the Birds locked up until he went down with a concussion against Green Bay on opening day. That opened the door for Michael Vick, who stole the show with a couple of amazing performances while Kolb was on the mend.
The following is a link to an article on Bleed-Green.com with my take on the whole situation.
Why trade Kolb at all?
