Brian Dawkins heads into town this Sunday in what will be one of the most emotional returns in the city since Allen Iverson returned to the 76ers. The only problem is that Dawk is playing for the other team.
Denver comes into this game with a 8-6 record and still in control of their playoff destiny in the AFC, however after starting 6-0 they have lost six out of their last eight games. A loss the Eagles would severly hurt their chances of even making the post season after such a great start.
The Birds on the other hand have already clinched a spot in the playoffs and can still end up as high as the #2 seed with two more wins and a Minnesota loss. If that isn't enough motivation to win this game, then I do not know what is.
