Each year before the start of a new NFL regular season BetOnline will release what are called player 'prop odds' for passing, running and catching the ball in terms of who will accumulate the most yards in each category over the course of the 16-game schedule. Last season New Orleans' quarterback Drew Brees led the NFL in passing yards with 5,177, Minnesota's Adrian Peterson was the league's leading rusher with 2,097 yards and Detroit wide receiver Calvin Johnson led the NFL with 1,964 receiving yards. All three have been opened at the top of the list as the odds-on-favorite win this year's crown, but they will face some stiff competition from a few worthy contenders.
The following is a link to an article I recently wrote for Bang the Book covering the favorites in all three categories.
